About Us
Time is of the essence. I hear that phrase a lot when clients order an appraisal. Quality appraisal work is useless if it is not in the hands of the right people at the right time. So at Kirkland Appraisals, I treat your deadlines as my own.
I have lived in the Triangle my whole life, and I have watched as local communities such as Cary expanded into multiple counties while land and property prices have experienced similar growth. I also saw first-hand the effects of slow-growth-oriented communities while I was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As an appraiser, I have worked in the Triangle and surrounding counties for over 10 years. During this time I have followed changing construction costs, evolving development models, and the growth of environmental initiatives. Every assignment is part of a continuous learning process. While I have a full appraisal background, I never assume that I know all the answers, and I never stop asking questions.
To be recognized as an MAI, I grew my understanding of the appraisal process through extensive class work, peer review, and a demonstration appraisal report. Every year I seek out continuing education courses that directly apply to specialized fields of appraisal such as conservation easements and floodplain issues.
If you have any questions regarding my background, my experience, or my availability, then please call any time. I look forward to helping you with your real estate concerns.
